Cordless phone keeps dialing the number 6 over and over what do I do?
I have a cordless vtech phone and I tried to dial someones # tonight and then it started going haywire and kept dialing the # 6 over and over again I have unplugged it and turned it back on and it still does it

vtech and uniden are two of my least favorite phones as a tech…. i prefer panasonic phones…
you already attempted to reset the base by plugging out the power, and replugging it, I would then recommend you check that the keys on the dial pad are not stuck, you can clean the keypad with some rubbing alcohol and a Qtip…
if that does not work, attempt to plug out the battery of the handset and reset it…
if all else fails get a panasonic DECT phone…
